OsmAnd+ — Offline Maps, Travel & Navigation
OsmAnd + is a navigation application that allows you to use maps wherever you are without using the Internet. This open source application uses OSM map data, creates routes with points and POIs, automatically recalculates the route in case of deviation, writes the current speed and estimated time of arrival, saves tracks.
OsmAnd + (OSM Automated Navigation Directions) is a map and navigation application with access to free, worldwide, and high-quality OpenStreetMap (OSM) data. Enjoy voice and optical navigation, viewing POIs (points of interest), creating and managing GPX tracks, using contour lines visualization and altitude info, a choice between driving, cycling, pedestrian modes, OSM editing and much more.
The map can rotate according to movement, and automatic scaling is supported depending on the speed. Supported options for driving, cycling, walking. There is voice guidance, incl. and in Russian. The standard Android OS controls are used, the "back" button closes the program, pinch-to-zoom is supported. When the program is running, the phone does not automatically turn off the screen. Can receive information about traffic jams from Yandex. A feature of the program is online routing through the services yournavigation.org and cloudmade.com. You can also create a small route directly in the program. The required maps can be downloaded via Wi-Fi in advance.
